- PS1 CONTROLLER WITH ANALOG PLUS
We have not tried them out, but here are a few we like. Either way it's worth a shot - they're usually pretty cheap, mine was about £4.The official PlayStation Store has a ton of merchandise options for keeping you warm over the holidays.
PS1 CONTROLLER WITH ANALOG HOW TO
Although, I haven't tested them since figuring out how to get analog working with the SN30Pro controller. Two of them just kept automatically scrolling up in the RetroArch menu, and the other worked but I couldn't get the sticks working. I tested 3 PS1 controllers on it through RetroArch. I also tested RC Stunt Copter (as it also requires the analog sticks) and was surprised the rumble was working too!Īs for PS1/PS2 to USB adapters, I tried one of those 'blue' ones I've seen mentioned loads. With the controller still in X-Input mode, you need to bring up the menu (usually Start + Select by default) and go to Main Menu -> Quick Menu -> Options -> Pad 1 Type, and set it to 'dualshock'. As far as I know, they only work through RetroArch and you do need to change some settings. I've tested out some PS1 games and the analog sticks work on those too, including Ape Escape. This has been enough to get it working with N64 and Dreamcast games. To do this you press Select + Up on the d-pad for 3 seconds. I found out I needed to change it to X-Input mode (which gets recognised as an Xbox 360 controller) and it works now. Out the box, the D-pad and both analog sticks all seemed to be mapped to the same buttons and reconfiguring it in RetroArch didn't work.
PS1 CONTROLLER WITH ANALOG BLUETOOTH
I don't know if it's possible to use wired (I've heard people being able to use DualShock 4's this way) but I've definitely needed the bluetooth adapter. I did try using the controller with the USB charging cable it ships with, but it didn't work. I bought the 8BitDo Wireless adapter for PS Classic with it too. 0.9 to Project Eris, but as far as I'm aware RetroArch is the same for both, so it shouldn't be an issue.
PS1 CONTROLLER WITH ANALOG PLUS
I just bought a 8BitDo SN30Pro Plus and it's working great. So what are my options? Hopefully you can help me out.
